The complete project that our Castle needs, according to experts, should include "archaeological prospecting campaigns, with all their derived actions: systematic collection of all archaeological material deposited on the surface of the site, cataloging of emerging architectural elements (morphological aspects, technical / constructive and functional), analysis of the different building units from the methodological assumptions of the so-called Archeology of Architecture, field interpretation of topographic, photogrammetric and aerial survey made in the first phase, obtaining wood samples used in construction to carry out radiocarbon dating (c14), etc. "

The proposed agreement reflected the following:
Urge the Government Team to develop a collaboration agreement together with a general protocol of action with the University of Murcia, under the advice of the Area of ​​Medieval History and the CEIR experts, for "scientific research, training, implementation value and diffusion of archaeological site Castillo de Ricote-Castillo de los Peñascales ".
Also urge the Government Team to resume and promote the archaeological study project designed in its day by the CEIR.
Promote contacts and active collaboration with the research institute "School of Arab Studies-CSIC".
Request the Ministry of Culture to ensure the relevant investment for the study and protection of this BIC, giving you transfer of this agreement.
Request, in the same way, the Ministry of Culture, through the intermediation of the Government Delegate, participation in the financing of archaeological studies.
Commit an annual amount of € 6,000 in the form of multiannual expenditure of the Municipal Budget for the period 2019-2023 (x5) for the possible co-financing of the actions to be developed.
