The Plan of Exhibition Spaces presents in Ricote, from tomorrow 15 October to 10 November, the exhibition 'Art and Photography', by Sonia Muñoz, within the framework of this initiative launched by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment .
The exhibition, which opens this Sunday at 12:45 am in the Palacio de Llamas Cultural Center, is composed of a series of photographic recreations of works by some of the best painters in history from El Greco to Goya.
Works such as 'Old frying eggs', 'The maja dressed' or 'The gentleman of the hand in the chest' are some of the pieces on which are based the photographs exhibited by this young artist Yeclana.
The project was carried out with users of the Yecla Association Affected by Cancer (AYAC), who posed as models for the realization of this photographic work.
The director general of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA), Marta López-Briones, affirmed that "the Plan of Expositive Spaces is the result of the collaboration between the regional government and the municipalities to provide the different municipalities with the Region of a varied and quality cultural offer ".
López-Briones recalled that "until December, we can see the works of the 59 artists who participate in the exhibitions scheduled in 22 locations."
Trajectory
Sonia Muñoz (Yecla, 1994) is the daughter of photographers and since 2007 is dedicated professionally to this artistic discipline.
At present, she complements her work as a freelance photographer with teaching, teaching photography courses in the provinces of Murcia and Alicante.
He has held collective exhibitions in Madrid and in different municipalities of the Region.
