White, December 15, 2013 -. Township Blanca moved in on Saturday afternoon 400 years ago to commemorate the expulsion of the Moors Ricote Valley, thanks to the staging that made the members of the Brotherhood of St. Bartolomé de Cieza in the official ceremony hosted by the Victoria Theatre.
The official historian of the town, Angel Rios, was on hand to open the event with an explanation of the historical event which highlighted the expulsion, in stages, of the orderly Moors by King Felipe III, which began in the Kingdom of Valencia and ended in the Kingdom of Murcia, being the Moors Valley of Ricote the last to leave the peninsula.
During the ceremony, attended by Mayor White, Rafael Laorden, along with other members of the Municipal Corporation, an exhibition of Arabic dance performed by the group Boato Nyla and gave attendees a comic illustrated by the expulsion painter Álvaro Peña.
The commemoration of the fourth centenary of the Expulsion of the Moriscos continued Ricote Valley in the morning with signaling hangout of Medieval Jewish communities and Councils Moriscos Ricote Valley in the place of Solvent and Craft Market with tasting of typical Arabic sweets and of Blanca, conducted by the Association of Women and Moroccan women in the church square.
