In an extraordinary plenary session last August 12, the group leading independent municipal M. Victoria Martínez Lajarín, introduced an amendment requesting "that the remuneration of councilors and Mayor for attending plenary sessions, committees, governing boards and other corporate bodies go to increase a social fund to help people with financial difficulties "
However, both the PSOE whose spokesperson is Councillor Ana Aroca, as the PP of Antonio José Torrano did not accept the independent proposal, thanks to the 8 votes of these parties, including Mayor Celedonio Moreno could not cope.
Independent criticized the lack of social sensitivity PSOE "allowing social assistance fund of only € 1,000, when in 2013 they spent about € 14,000 more than expected by them at parties."
