The Community has already submitted to the Ministry a total of 21,375 data from the Tax Agency of the Region of Murcia
The presidential adviser and Employment, José Gabriel Ruiz, and the mayor of Ricote, Celedonio Moreno signed an agreement to join today Township Regional Plan to Combat Irregular Economy, which aims to improve the quality of work and the protection of social and labor rights of workers.
With Ricote are now 29 municipalities that are part of this plan, which is included in the Strategy for Job Creation in the Region of Murcia, and aims to foster collaboration between the Community and the consistory, in order that these submit data on which to investigate suspected cases of economy.
The regional government considers that undeclared work is seriously detrimental to workers who lose all their labor guarantees and social rights as well as the vast majority of companies operating under the law.
This practice hinders economic recovery in the region.
José Gabriel Ruiz recalled to help fight this illegal practice, the regional government has already submitted to the Ministry data totaling 56,375, of which 13,700 correspond to those supplied by local corporations and 21,375 come from the Regional Tax Office of Murcia.
To complete the system to combat the underground economy, the Community also has an agreement regarding this matter with the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
