The municipalities that comprise it have a common purification system with a set of pumps and manifolds leading the wastewater to the treatment plant five municipalities of Archena.
Martinez-Cache explained that the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, through Esamur, is promoting the study to implement an upflow anaerobic reactor for the treatment of urban waste water.
"This is a highly innovative technology that could present significant energy savings and reduced generation of sludge in urban purification processes," said the owner of Agriculture.
The Minister of Agriculture explained that "alternatives have been evaluated and it has been considered that the treatment plant Archena has the best conditions in the area of ​​Murcia to test these features."
