The Governing Council has declared of Cultural Interest, with categories of monument, the church of San Sebastian de Ricote, baroque style, built by the Order of Santiago in the seventeenth century and rebuilt in the XVIII.
The monument, located in the center of town, stands on a quadrangular plan divided into three naves, the apse and transept, over which stands a dome.
Its main facade is also in Baroque style around the basement of the temple is dedicated to the burial crypt of knights of the Order of Santiago.
This statement covers both the building and personal property that are kept there, as the organ donated by the family calls, made in 1743 by José Meseguer.
The church also has a large supply of liturgical vestments and a primitive mural.
As for sculpture, has in its chapels with carved Salzillo Francisco San Joaquin, San Jose and San Juan Bosco.
The BIC is the fourth that is declared in the municipality of Ricote, which already have this qualification the House of Commendation or Castellanos Alvarez Palace, seat of the municipal council and Peñascal Castle and snow pit Sierra de Ricote.
